Born and raised in New Hampshire, I got a bachelor’s degree in psychology before working in neuroimaging research studying Schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Discovering a latent love for storytelling, I went to grad school for journalism but then withdrew after realizing my passion was really for songwriting and music.

This was around the same time I started playing guitar, and over the next three years I wrote some songs that you can find here or on my YouTube channel.
